New Patients

Congratulations and thank you for taking this important step toward your personal long-term good health! We are looking forward to seeing you in our Franconia home office as a new patient. The following may be helpful to you in anticipation of your first visit.

Our new-patient protocol involves a first and second visit. The first visit will be approximately 2 and 1/2 hours. This will include consultation, exam and treatment.  The follow-up visit will take place five to seven days later and will take approximately 1 hour. The fee for both visits combined is $400.00*. Thereafter, visits are approximately thirty minutes and the fee is $80. *We acknowledge each person’s unique case and individuality and occasionally more time is required to address serious concerns. In these cases, the charge will reflect the amount of extra time spent with the patient.   

Dr. Powell does not accept insurance. We are a cash practice; however, we also accept checks and credit or debit cards. We will also provide a receipt at your request and you may submit it to your insurance provider for determination of reimbursement.   

 If, at any time before this visit or any subsequent visit, you have a vaccination of any kind, please inform us. We may need to reschedule.  Some vaccines may cause the recipient to be contagious.  Regarding Covid-19, if you have a scheduled appointment and you or a family member are experiencing any symptoms of Covid such as flu, cold or fever, please call and we will reschedule your appointment. At the time of your visit, please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne. We ask that you please turn off your cell phone during your visit or leave it in Reception. Your appointment time has been reserved especially for you at the exclusion of others who may be waiting for an appointment. If you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your visit.  If you should arrive late, we may not be able to see you for that appointment.
